BEIS (The Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy)
in Victoria Street, Central London
HTP were appointed by ISS Facilities Management as architects and design advisors for this 2 year project. Many challenges were presented as the building is a large, very busy office complex and conference Centre. Carrying out the work on site through the Covid emergency was also an issue that was successfully resolved, and was assisted by weekly online project management and progress meetings. The project involved redesigning all the entrance areas and two external areas to update and improve the visual appearance and enhance security.
HTP produced some 40 detailed layout and coordination drawings, including full colour 3D visuals so the Client could get a feel for the new entrance area concepts. Planning Applications were made as necessary and the project was completed successfully.
